That's me:

The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory. - Paul Fix

So Latin

Was actually quite fun tonight. Went over to a classmates house where she made fajitas for us, we got to visit, look at the bombshelter in the back, and oh yeah, read Latin and do the exercies. Yes everyone, Latin can be fun!

Fresh/Soph party

So the Sophs threw us Freshs a nice party Sunday, very welcoming, with hamburgers, games, and advice. But the moral of this story is don't chew or bite styrofoam, especially if someone is about to make you laugh. Being slightly bored I resorted to the cup in my hand and proceded to bite off a piece. At this precise moment something struck me as funny and the styrofoam was then clinging to the back of my esophagus, going neither up nor down. Thankfully after a few coughs, and a brief life flashed before my eyes, it was dislodged.

Heave-ho

The brain is a muscle and must be exercised. Use it or ya lose it.... or somethin like that. So my brain just went to bootcamp: where it is being made to do many push-ups. When I hear from it I'll let you know how it's doing. Maybe soon it will learn how to write... or dial a phone, but at the present it is trying to remember how to turn that page and get the eyes to move quicker.

Couch

When Joanna came home yesterday I was already occupying my favored spot on the couch, reading (as I'm sure you've guessed). When she went to bed hours (I'm sure) later, where could I be found? You guessed it. And when she woke up and walked out of her room all she could say was "I swear your rear is glued to that couch!"

Readings

I finished the first five books of City of God this morn, Amusing Ourselves to Death, and then read Everything Bad is Good for You....all today! No wonder I'm having Mom ship me some contacts. Maybe some new eyeballs would help. And I still made it to class and worked at ACCS. Yes, you are allowed to be proud. :) But, I still have much more to do, no time for chatting! CHARGE!!!!

So I'm sitting in the Library

I try to read, the endless ticking of computer keys draws my attention. Can't beat 'em join 'em! Math was completely not sinking in , bout 1/2 hour to go and I'll be sitting in Math class! Please continue to pray for me. Where do I start, the paper, that would be a good start. Or maybe the City of God, oh, wait I'm missing parts of that. Or shall we move onto the other two books due.....uhhhh.

Yes, I am sleep deprived, just so everyone knows.

So I'm getting to know the coffee vendors in the area. Time for that afternoon cup speaking of. Someday a caffine drip IV will be invented. But now on to the studies, because for some reason they want us to pay attention when we read, AND remember it.

Sunday lunch

I think Pastor Wilson is the only one who can get away with chomping on watermelon while making plans for the next Presbitary meeting.

Blonde moment

So I felt like the stupidest person in the world today... Left the house to meet my roommate downtown and something smelled really funny. Nothing being open on Friday night, I call my roommate to pick me up and she congenially obliges. Pull back into the driveway and stop dead in my tracks -the parking break is up!! My roommate (Joanna) pulls up to find me halfway under the car taking a peek at my tires. "Are you under there for your health or do you actually know what you are doing?" I only wish I did (sigh).
